Kathy Harvey Named to SmartCEO’s Future50 & to BARCS’ Board of Directors

Ad Agency President and Animal Rights Advocate Makes Her Mark as a Female Leader in Business

Kathy Harvey, Founder and CEO of HARVEY Agency, an award winning, “brand activating” advertising and marketing firm based outside of Baltimore, Maryland, this month was featured on the cover of SmartCEO Magazine as one of Baltimore’s Future 50 business leaders. Harvey, who also received this award in 2013 and 2014, will be honored at SmartCEO’s Future 50 Awards Program on Thursday, January 21, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in Baltimore. Harvey also received the 2015 SmartCEO’s Corporate Culture Award and has previously received multiple Brava! Women in Leadership Awards.

The award comes shortly after Harvey was asked to serve on The Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS) Board of Directors, effective January 2016. Harvey and her team pride themselves in supporting animal welfare and have donated more than $49,000 in 2015 alone to various non-profit organizations such as African Wildlife Foundation and Phoenix Wildlife Center. HARVEY employees have also helped support these charitable causes by volunteering over 186 hours of volunteer work.
