Harvey, an award-winning brand activation agency, today announced that it won gold and silver at AAF Baltimore’s 2015 American Advertising Awards held on March 12, 2015. The 30-year-old firm was recognized for its exemplary work in the public service out-of-home and non-traditional categories. The Baltimore ADDYs, part of the largest advertising competition in the world, showcases work done by the local advertising community.
Harvey’s silver-winning work in the public service out-of-home category was an eye-catching design wrap for Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter’s new mobile adoption vehicle. The Harvey team donated its creative talents to design The BFF Waggin’, helping BARCS make shelter animals more accessible to their prospective families.
The agency’s Holiday Fix Imperial Stout beer, brewed exclusively as a 2014 holiday gift for Harvey clients, snagged the first place prize in the non-traditional category. Harvey partnered with Flying Dog Brewery on this limited edition beer, and even helped fill and package each bottle individually. The custom packaging was hand-illustrated by Harvey’s own creative team to produce a sleek, unique design that captured the festive spirit of the winter season.
“We are thrilled about our wins at the 2015 Baltimore ADDYs Thursday night,” said Diane Lonsdale, chief experience officer at Harvey. “Our agency is known primarily for our shopper marketing and digital work, so it is an honor to have our pro-bono and personal branding projects receive recognition in the Baltimore community.”
As a first place winner, Harvey’s holiday beer gift will be forwarded to the American Advertising Federation District 2 competition where it will compete against regional ADDYs winners from Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and the District of Columbia.
