Harvey, an award-winning brand activation agency, today announced it has hired Jen Leah as art director for the COVERGIRL account. The nearly 30-year-old firm, previously known as Harvey & Daughters, has more than doubled its staff over the past two years and increased revenue by almost 50 percent in 2013.
Leah joins the Harvey team with 15 years of package design experience for top beauty brands such as Lauder, Victoria’s Secret Body and Avon. Previously working at Anthem Worldwide for over seven years, Leah designed and managed packaging, wall and POP displays for Revlon and Almay.
“I am very excited I made the move from New York City to Baltimore to join the Harvey family,” said Leah. “Designing for beauty brands is my passion, and I am thrilled to be able to continue my dream at Harvey as art director for the COVERGIRL account.”
At Harvey, Leah will design and direct in-store wall graphics and promotional pieces. She will collaborate with a team of designers to develop unique in-store environments that engage shoppers while communicating the COVERGIRL story.
“Leah is a great asset to our team and we are so happy to have her on board,” said Diane Lonsdale, SVP of brand experience at Harvey. “Her years of experience in both the package design and beauty industries gives her unmatched talent that will continue to evolve the work Harvey does for its clients.”
Leah is an alumna of Northeastern University and Portfolio Center. She also studied studio art Lorenzo de Medici’s studio in Florence, Italy and was a children’s drawing instructor at Artistic Dreams in Harlem.
